Termite Treatments

Having your property inspected for termites and other wood destroying pests periodically is the most important thing you can do to protect your home from unwanted pests and damage. If you do not get your property inspected regularly you could end up having to spend thousands of dollars in repair bills.

Termites can cause major structural damage within 5 years of moving into your home. Early detection of termite infestation is the key to protecting your home and giving you assurance that your home continues to be structurally sound.
At First Western we use advanced methods to better serve you and to care for our environment. There are many methods available to treat termites and other wood destroying pests. Here are some of the ways First Western has found to treat termite infestations over years:

Timbor Foam Treatments

Timbor Insecticide is an EPA registered termiticide and insecticide for use by Professional Pest Control Companies. Timbor is a unique product for the protection and remedial treatment of wood against all wood destroying organisms. Timbor can also be used for general pest control. Timbor is a white powder that can be used directly as a dust or readily dissolved in water. There are no odors and no hazardous solvents to use. Which means people, pets, plants and foods are able to stay in the home during treatment.

Termidor SC Termiticide/Insecticide

Subterranean termites are visual to us through there evidence (mud tubes) that they create in order to move about and cause more damage to your property. Termidor is one of the most effective ways of treating subterranean termites. It can be used as a liquid spray, or pressure injected under a slab foundation, or as a foam treatment. Termidor is effective against a broad spectrum of insects and 100% effective against subterranean termites.

Chemical Treatment/Local Treatment

Chemical Treatment is the procedure of drilling and treating the drywood termite colonies. The chemical is pressure injected into the termite channels where ever there are any signs of termite evidence (droppings). By treating the wood, we are able to get the chemicals straight into the termite channels and kill the termites.

We can fumigate (tent) your property for the elimination of drywood termites and wood destroying beetles. Fumigation will kill all the termites in the inaccessible areas of your property even where there is no outward evidence (droppings) of termites.

Our team can finish a treatment normally in one day.

The products we use are guaranteed to control drywood termites, subterranean termites, and wood decay caused by dry rot.
